José López (boxer)
José Ángel López Rivero (* 29. March 1972 in Trujillo Alto ) is a former Puerto Rican boxer in the super flyweight .
Professional career
López reached in his professional debut on November 27, 1991 against Juan Cruz a draw. In his 8th fight he was Puerto Rican champion. On March 28, 2009 he went against Pramuansak Posuwan for the world title of the WBO and won by unanimous decision. However, he already lost this belt in his first title defense in September of the same year against Marvin Sonsona on points.
In 2012 López ended his career with a match record of 39 wins and 11 losses in 2 draws.
