Josef Hoffmann (singer)

Josef Hoffmann , also Joseph Hoffmann , (* before 1765, † after 1777) was a singer ( bass ).

From 1765 he was recorded as "Bass for Choral" in the Electoral Bavarian Court Orchestra in Munich . His annual salary was 152 guilders . In 1777 he was retired with an annual salary of 190 guilders. The term “for chorale” refers to the fact that Hoffmann appeared at festive church services , probably as a soloist.
