Josef Tropper

Josef Tropper (born July 24, 1963 in Wagna ) is an Austrian Semitist .

After receiving his doctorate in 1988 at the University of Münster on the subject of necromancy. Dead survey in the Ancient Orient and the Old Testament he was a research assistant at the Free University of Berlin from 1989 to 1995. There he was in 1997 with a font for Ugaritic grammar habilitation . From 1995 he was a research assistant at the Humboldt University in Berlin . Since 2004 he has been an adjunct professor at the Free University of Berlin. He is also a language lecturer at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
