Joseph Boahen Aidoo

Joseph Boahen Aidoo (born August 4, 1958 ) is a politician in Ghana . He was Regional Minister of the Western Region until July 2005 . Aidoo's deputy in the office of regional minister was Sophia Honer Sam. There were allegations of corruption against the then Minister Aidoo. President John Agyekum Kufuor released Aidoo from his duties during the public discussion.

Aidoo has been elected to the Ghanaian Parliament as a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Wassa Afransie constituency in the Western Region .

The Catholic Aidoo is married and has five children.
