Joseph Falaky Nagy

Joseph Falaky Nagy (born October 24, 1954 in Bloomington ) is an American linguist.

Life

He earned an AB in Folklore and Mythology from Harvard in 1974 and a Ph.D. in Celtic languages ​​and literatures from Harvard University in 1978. He teaches as Professor of English at the University of California, Los Angeles (assistant professor level 1978; promoted to associate professor on July 1, 1984; promoted to professor on July 1 1984).

His brothers are Blaise Nagy , Professor Emeritus of Classical Studies at the College of the Holy Cross and Gregory Nagy , Professor Emeritus of Classical Studies at Harvard University.
