Criticism of the teachings of the modern grace movement (Hypergrace)

The American Michael L. Brown warns in his book Grace Without End about the modern grace movement ( English Hypergrace ), of which Joseph Prince also belongs. One of the main criticisms is that Joseph Prince and other Hypergrace proponents teach that the Holy Spirit allegedly would no longer convict believing Christians of sin. The reasoning is that God has already forgiven and forgotten all their sins and would see them as perfect in Jesus (p. 113). Brown contradicts this by writing that God in his boundless love and goodness would very well see to it that Christians feel uncomfortable in their sin so that they turn away from this destructive force and return to God (p. 119).

The Biblical School Belief Center Bad Gandersheim positioned itself in a document from 2017 on the modern grace movement. A position is taken on eight concrete teaching points of the modern grace movement.
