Joshua Steinberg

Josua Steinberg ( Russian Осий (Иошуа) Штейнберг ; born 1839 in Vilnius , Russian Empire ; died March 21, 1908 in Vilnius) was a Russian-Jewish scholar and government-appointed inspector of Jewish schools. He emerged mainly as a linguist and lexicographer and published a Hebrew-Russian-German dictionary (1888 ff.).
