The Journal of Cleaner Production is an 18-issue annually peer-reviewed scientific journal that has been published by Elsevier since 1993 . The editor-in-chief is Donald Huisingh from the University of Tennessee .

The journal is transdisciplinary and publishes research that deals with a more environmentally friendly production method. It aims at innovations in the production process, new and improved products as well as the introduction of more environmentally friendly structures, systems and processes.
