Journal of Contemporary Religion

The Journal of Contemporary Religion is a three-times-a-year scientific journal in the field of religious studies. The journal is published by Taylor & Francis , the editors are: Elisabeth Arweck and Peter Bernard Clarke. The journal is peer-reviewed and is listed in the OPAC ( ISSN  1353-7903 ) .

The focus of the Journal of Contemporary Religion focuses on the sociological, anthropological, philosophical and psychological aspects of emerging religions and looks at them worldwide.

The magazine was founded in 1985 as Religion Today by Peter Bernard Clarke at the Center for New Religions at King's College, London . In 1995 she changed her title to Journal of Contemporary Religion and continues with this.
