The Journal on European History of Law ( Journal of European Legal History ) is a legal history written in English and German magazine, which is published twice a year. It is addressed to legal historians and Romanists from all European countries. In addition to the scientific studies and analyzes, the journal also contains book reviews on legal history and current legal history.
The journal has been published by the London publisher STS Science Center Ltd. since 2010. It is being prepared for publication by the legal history society The European Society for History of Law . All contributions are examined by the scientific advisory board. JEHL magazine is registered in Scopus and ERIH PLUS.
