Jowita Kramer

Jowita Kramer is a German Indologist .

Life

In 2000 she obtained an MA in Tibetology and Indology at the University of Hamburg , and in 2004 a Dr. phil. in Hamburg in Indology and in 2010 the certificate "University Teaching Bavaria". After completing her habilitation in 2010 at the University of Munich , she has been an adjunct professor for Indology in Munich since 2017 .

Her research interests are early Buddhism and Mahāyāna, Abhidharma and Buddhist practice, manuscripts, intertextuality in Buddhist commentary literature, and Tibetan biographies and lineages.
