Joy Behar (born Josephina Victoria Occhiuto in Brooklyn , NY October 7, 1942 ) is an American comedienne , actress and presenter .

Behar has been a member of the team for the show " The View " since 1997 . She also starred in the series " Baby Boom ". In June 2016, she was inducted into the Brooklyn Walk of Fame at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden . Behar presented the "Joy Behar Show" on WABC .

She starred in the films "Cookie" with Peter Falk, "This is My Life" by Nora Ephron and Woody Allen's " Manhattan Murder Mystery ".
