Joyce Roberts

Joyce Roberts , married Joyce Miller (* in the 20th century) is a former English table tennis player from the 1950s. She took part in two world championships.

Career

Joyce Roberts began playing table tennis in 1947. In 1951 she was nominated for the World Championship in Vienna. Here she was used in the team competition against Yugoslavia and Italy, where she won all games. In the end, the English team won bronze. She reached the quarterfinals both in doubles with Elisabeth Pithie (Scotland) and in mixed with Brian Kennedy .

In 1954 she again took part in the World Cup in her own country, but only competed in individual competitions. Here she did not come close to medal ranks.

Private

In September 1949 Joyce Roberts married the English table tennis international Tony Miller.
