Juan Nova Ramirez

Juan Nova Ramírez (date and place of birth not known; † May 5, 2015 ) was a Dominican sports reporter and broadcaster.

Nova Ramírez began her career as a sports reporter in 1968 reporting Carlos Teo Cruz 's fight for the world lightweight boxing championship. In 1974 he worked on radio and television reports on the XII Juegos Deportivos Centroamericanos y del Caribe in Santo Domingo. Later that year he reported on the basketball championships at the Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte . In 1978 he accompanied Andrés Vanderhorts , Guelo Tueni and Leandro de la Cruz at the Basketball World Cup.

From 1981 he was alongside Moncho Imbert , Roosevelt Comarazamy , Billy Berroa and Félix Acosta Nuñez reporter for the baseball team Leones del Escogido . In 1981 the brothers Jhonny and Ramón Naranjo brought him to the Estrellas Orientales in San Pedro de Macorís as a commercial speaker . From 1990 he was spokesman for the Tigres del Licey on television.

With Otto Rivera and Nobel Alfonso , Nova Ramírez founded the Escuela Nacional de Locución “Profesor Otto Rivera” , of which he was director for several years.
