Carlos Teo Cruz (* 4. November 1937 in Santiago de los Caballeros , Dominican Republic as Carlos Teofilo Rosario Cruz ; † 2. February 1970 ) was a Dominican boxer in the lightweight .

As an amateur, he was active from 1957 to 1959. His record was 14-3.
professional
He lost his professional debut on October 23, 1959 against his compatriot Juan Jimenez over 8 rounds after rounds.
In June 1968 he took Carlos Ortiz by a split judge decision over 15 rounds from the world championship of the associations WBC and WBA . He defended the Belts against Mando Ramos in September of that year . The rematch against Ramos, which took place on February 18 of the following year, Teo Cruz lost and had lost both titles.
