Offensive player Otero, who was used in the left wing position, played at club level at least 1922 for the Montevideo- based club Central in the Primera División .
National team
Otero was a member of the Uruguayan senior team . He was part of the Uruguayan squad at the South American Championship in 1922 . There he was used in the two games against Argentina (October 8, 1922) and Paraguay (October 12, 1922). He did not score an international goal.
