Jubilant priest
Jubilee priest , also modern jubilee priest , is an (outdated) term for Catholic priests who received their ordination at least 50 years ago, i.e. who can or could celebrate an anniversary . The solemn mass that a Catholic clergyman celebrates on his (golden) jubilee as a priest is the jubilee mass and is usually festive.
Holders of other offices within the church also celebrated an official jubilee.
