Judith Jamison
Judith Ann Jamison (born May 10, 1943 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American dancer and choreographer.
Judith Jamison became a ballet soloist at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 1965 and has been its artistic director since 1989. In 2005 she was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
