The Judo Club Uster is a judo club in the canton of Zurich . The association was founded in 1964 and with its 400 members is one of the largest judo associations in Switzerland . In addition to judo, the Judo Club Uster also offers ju-jitsu . The Judo Club Uster is a member of the Zurich Judo and Ju-Jitsu Association, the Swiss Judo and Ju-Jitsu Association and Versa.

Dojo

The Judo Club Uster has its own dojo with three tatami and a fitness room. The dojo of the Judo Club Uster is one of the bases of the regional performance center Zurich.

National Ustermer judo tournament

The Judo Club Uster is the host of one of the national judo A tournaments in Switzerland. The tournament takes place every year in early summer and annually attracts over 800 starters from Switzerland, Germany, Italy and other European countries. In addition to the youth and elite categories, Masters categories are also offered.

European Cup Swiss Judo Open

The Judo Club Uster is the host of an elite European Cup tournament. On two days at the beginning of March, the current Swiss champions and athletes from over 20 nations will fight in front of over 1000 spectators in Ustermer Buchholz.
