Youth Album was a monthly magazine for the youth. It appeared in 34 years from 1850 to 1889, with the exception of 1867, 1872 and 1882–1885. It was published by the Stuttgart publishers Eduard Hallberger (from 1850), Wilhelm Nübling (from 1868) and Albert Koch (from 1870).

In 1850 the magazine had the subtitle "Leaves for the domestic circle", from 1851 "Leaves for pleasant and educational entertainment in domestic circles" or "Festgabe for pleasant and educational entertainment in domestic circles". The first year contained the note “ Edited by Emma Niendorf with the help of Gustav Schwab ”, the following editions appeared without this note. The booklets had a volume of 32, later 48 pages (without panels) and were illustrated with panels in color and in black and white and with numerous text illustrations.
