Child care
The child care and remedial training are in German-speaking largely outdated concepts for today's children and youth welfare (Germany and Switzerland) or child and youth welfare (Austria), and in particular for educational assistance . The legal basis in Germany until 1991 was the Youth Welfare Act (JWG) , which has since been replaced by the Child and Youth Welfare Act (KJHG). In Austria, the Youth Welfare Act was fundamental. The new Child and Youth Welfare Act has been in force since 2013 .
Youth welfare measures in Germany were in particular welfare education (FE) and voluntary educational assistance (FEH). Most of them took place outside the home .
