Youth law
The term youth law , which is not clearly defined in Germany, encompasses all laws relating to children and young people. These include:
- the eighth book of the Social Security Code ( SGB VIII ) child and youth welfare,
- the Youth Protection Act (JuSchG),
- the State Treaty on Youth Media Protection (JMStV),
- the Youth Employment Protection Act (JArbSchG),
- the Youth Courts Act (JGG) and
- Areas of the German Civil Code (BGB).
