Julian Seward

Julian Seward is a British compiler specialist and writes open source software. He became known as the author of bzip2 and valgrind . In 2004, Matthias Ettrich called him the one with the largest single contribution of new software on the x86 platform in recent years.

  • In July 2006, Julian Seward received the Google-O'Reilly Open Source Award as "Best Toolmaker" for his contributions to Valgrind.
