Juliane Seidel

Juliane Seidel (born January 11, 1983 in Suhl ) is a German graphic designer and writer, primarily in the genres of children's and youth literature and fantasy .

Life

Juliane Seidel works full-time as a technical editor or team assistant. Together with her partner, she illustrated books and drew comics before she herself published the fantasy children's book series Assjah as an author . A fantasy trilogy and other fiction works followed. In addition to the independent publications, a novella and short stories were created, which were included in various anthologies .

In addition to her writing activities, Seidel is involved in various events; Since 2014 she has been organizing the gay and lesbian reading festival QUEER read , in which literary professionals from all over Germany take part. She also runs the "queer review blog " Like a Dream and is involved in the queer film festival of the state capital Wiesbaden , the Homonale .

Seidel lives and works with her partner Tanja Meurer in Wiesbaden.
