Julio Ferrón , full name Julio César Ferrón Álvez , (born October 12, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

According to his club, the 1.85 meter tall defensive player Ferrón has been in the squad of first division club Danubio at least since the Apertura 2009 . For the Montevideans he played 15 games in the Primera División until the end of the 2010/11 season . In the Apertura 2011 he was in the ranks of the league competitor El Tanque Sisley . There he completed 13 league games. He then moved to Argentina in the Nacional B and joined Defensa y Justicia . His statistics show eleven missions there. In the 2013 Clausura he was back in the ranks of Danubio. He was on the pitch four times in that series in league games. In the Apertura of the 2013/14 season, he was substituted on for only six minutes. This was also attributable to a cruciate ligament injury that he was diagnosed with in October 2013. Until the end of the 2013/14 season, in which his team won the national championship title, he did not come to any further league use. In the Apertura 2014 he was also not used in any first division game. In January 2015, he rejoined El Tanque Sisley. Seven first division appearances (no goal) are there in the 2015 Clausura for him. He then moved to the Club Universitario in Bolivia in June 2015 . For the Bolivians, he has played two league games (no goal) so far (as of July 15, 2017).
