Yule cake
The Julkuchen is a Christmas cake from Scandinavia and Finland . Different baked goods are referred to with the same name.
Danish Jul cake is a yeast cake with raisins and candied fruits. It is baked in a loaf pan, decorated with candied cherries and served sliced.
Swedish Julkuchen are cookies from shortcrust that with a mixture of before baking granulated sugar and cinnamon sprinkled. There is also the jultårta ( Finnish . "Joulutorttu"), which are pastries shaped into windmills that are filled with plum jam .
