Käglan
Käglan is a mountain range in Sweden that lies between the Arbogaån River and the Hjälmaren Lake .
The ridge is about 50 kilometers long and reaches its highest height of 108 meters east of Lake Väringen. In the eastern part the highest mountains are at 60 to 80 meters. These mostly have steep mountain slopes to the north. In the past, the ridge was mostly forested and formed a natural border between the historic provinces of Västmanland and Närke . The forest was broken up with heather and swamps. In the course of the settlement of the ridge, more and more areas were made usable for agriculture.
