The winner: Otto Goetzke

The Cologne – Wroclaw long-distance bike ride was held in 1905. It took place only once.

The race went over 938.2 kilometers from Cologne to Breslau and started on September 7, 1905. It was the longest cycling race that ever took place on German soil. 29 drivers had registered for it, but only 20 started. Of these, only twelve made it to their destination in Breslau. The winner was the Berlin cyclist Otto Goetzke , who needed 54 hours, 37 minutes and 50 seconds for the route. The referees had to stay until the last driver, Albert Bamberg from Breslau, had finished the race after 98 hours and 40 minutes - i.e. after more than four days.
