Cologne summer festival
The Cologne Summer Festival in July and August presents international dance, show and musical productions in the Cologne Philharmonic Hall (1998 and 2000 parallel in the Cologne Opera and the Cologne Theater ).
It was founded in 1988 by the impresario Michael Brenner and the founding director of the Cologne Philharmonic, Franz Xaver Ohnesorg . The organizer is BB Promotion GmbH, a subsidiary of the BB Group, in cooperation with KölnMusik GmbH.
The Cologne Summer Festival is the stage for German premieres of international productions and companies. It was also the starting point for tours through German-speaking countries.
