Michael Brenner (Impresario)
Michael Brenner (born January 1, 1952 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ; † May 21, 2011 in Erpolzheim ) was a German impresario and theater producer .
Career
Impresario Michael Brenner organized musicals , ballet performances and concerts as early as the 1980s . In 1987, when he founded BB Promotion - The Art of Entertainment, he laid the cornerstone of the BB Group, which is one of the leading agencies in the areas of development, production, management, marketing, ticketing and merchandising of high-quality live entertainment in Europe and worldwide.
Dance, music and musical productions
Michael Brenner has produced a variety of musicals . In 2009 there was a major new production of Hairspray in the Cologne Musical Dome . In cooperation with QUEEN he produced the musical We Will Rock You in 2004 , which could be seen in the Musical Dome Cologne from 2004 to 2008, as well as in Zurich , Vienna , Stuttgart and other major European cities. The premiere at the Theater des Westens in Berlin took place in October 2010. Michael Brenner has produced international tours of the original West Side Story production since 2003 , including guest appearances in London , Sydney , Paris , Beijing , Singapore and Berlin.
