Artificial skull deformation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As artificial cranial deformation (artificial Schädeldeformierung , skull deformation or turricephaly ) refers to the conscious unauthorized modification of the natural growth processes of normal human skull . This intended mechanical reshaping of the human head creates an appearance that deviates from the norm. The person changed in this way is very likely to acquire a special status. The deliberate intervention in the natural growth of the skull shape already occurs in early childhood, as the skull sutures are still relatively easy to shape.
