The pumpkin exhibition in Ludwigsburg is supposedly the world's largest pumpkin exhibition , which has been taking place every autumn since 2000 between September and November on the grounds of the Blooming Baroque in Ludwigsburg . Various pumpkin cradle championships take place every year. There are over 450,000 copies and 450 varieties on display and there is a variety of dishes made from pumpkins, such as pumpkin soup, pumpkin fries, pumpkin dumplings or roasted pumpkin seeds. Every year there is an overarching theme after which the pumpkin sculptures orient themselves. In 2016, for example, it was time to go to the pumpkin circus! . The pumpkin exhibition attracts around 200,000 visitors every year.
