Traffic separation area and coastal traffic zone

The coastal traffic zone (English: "Inshore Traffic Zone") is the area that is located between the coastline of a state and a seaward adjoining traffic separation area.

The coastal traffic zone is reserved for smaller boats, sailing ships and motor ships, the length of which does not exceed 20 m. According to the Start-up Conditions Ordinance, larger motor vehicles must drive into the seaward traffic separation area.
