Kęstutis Grinius

Kęstutis Grinius (born August 10, 1956 in Marijampolė ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from high school, he completed his diploma in mathematics at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas and then worked as a mathematics teacher in the district of Ukmergė and as a school director in Užugiris near Ukmergė . From 1990 to 1992 he was a member of the Seimas and from 1991 headed a high commission on the nationalization of property of Lietuvos komunistų partija . After being unemployed from 1992 to 1994, Grinius ran a state company as general director until 1997. Since 1997 he has been unemployed again.

Kęstutis Grinius founded the party Tautos pažangos partija .

He is married and has a daughter and a son with his wife Rita.
