Kīlauea Iki
The Kīlauea Iki (German Kilauea ) is a crater on the edge of Caldera the on Hawaii lying volcano Kīlauea . In the Hawaiian language , the name means "little Kīlauea" .
The Kīlauea erupted in 1959 and created lava fountains up to 600 meters high, covering several square kilometers. As the lava cooled, it revealed large craters. This can be seen on the 0.8 km long Devastation Trail .
