KAOS GL

KAOS GL is an organization for LGBT rights in Turkey. It was founded in September 1994 and is one of the largest LGBT organizations in Turkey. In 2005, KAOS GL was the first LGBT organization to be officially registered as an association in Turkey. Politicians then tried to get the organization closed. However, these attempts failed.

In 2008 KAOS GL organized the first LGBT demonstration in the Turkish capital Ankara on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia together with the Lesbian Association and Pink Life LGBTT .
