The KCH Group GmbH was an international company in the field of industrial corrosion and surface protection. The group employed around 1100 people worldwide until the remaining activities were taken over in 2010 by the Steuler Holding GmbH from Höhr-Grenzhausen .

history

The company was founded in 1868. The company names and logos of Keramchemie have seen numerous changes over the years. The abbreviation "KCH" appeared in the company logo for the first time in the 1950s. It soon caught on in everyday use. The head office is in Siershahn in the Westerwald . The KCH group of companies has production sites in Germany, Mexico, Morocco, China and Singapore.

The range of products offered by the KCH group of companies comprised containers, apparatus and collection basins, transport containers, pipelines, industrial floors and pool construction. Until 2010, Keramchemie (KCH) produced, processed, applied and delivered cladding, composite materials, containers, pipelines, brickwork, synthetic resin coatings, collecting basins, rubber linings, apparatus and industrial floors. Under the name STEULER-KCH GmbH, the core business of industrial corrosion protection has been continued since 2010 under the Steuler Holding GmbH from Höhr-Grenzhausen.

Systemceram

The system Ceram GmbH & Co. KG has its origins in the KCH Keramchemie. Cast ceramic products for laboratories and kitchens were produced under their names at the Siershahn site and are still marketed today under the systemceram brand.

With an export quota of around 15%, systemceram markets its products in 35 countries. It is one of the market leaders in the field of kitchen and laboratory ceramics.
