Under the name Hot 96.7 they returned to the original concept as a contemporary hit station in September 2009.

For legal reasons, radio stations must begin with a K or W. Since North Mankato is east of the Mississippi, the station had to begin with K (KDOG). In January 1923, the dividing line along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers, which is still valid today, was established. The previously assigned "wrong" callsigns remained valid. Some of these stations still exist today.

event

Together with the station Minnesota 93 , which also belongs to the Linder group, Hot 96.7 organizes the event Dancing with the Mankato Stars every year . The proceeds go to the Red Cross .
