KE-SOFT was a German computer game company.

history

It was founded in 1989 by Kemal Ezcan (today's name: Yoda Zhang). The company released games, software and literature for the Atari home computers . From 1989 to 1996 the German-language magazine Zong appeared , which also dealt exclusively with the Atari home computer and after the Atari magazine was discontinued it was the only German-language magazine for Atari home computers. Kemal Ezcan was best known in the Atari scene for his music programming. He programmed u. a. Music for games on behalf of Atari Germany and Axis Computerkunst, which were later published by Ariolasoft .

In the years before 1996, KE-SOFT was the only German company that still supported Atari home computers . KE-SOFT was dissolved in 1996, and all published games went into the public domain .
