The KNT-308 is the first sniper rifle in the Turkish armaments industry to be entirely based on domestic development and production. It was developed by Kalekalip and is produced by the Turkish state arms company MKEK . The basic rifle is a repeating rifle in the 7.62 × 51 mm NATO caliber with 5 rounds. An anti-materiel variant of the rifle can also fire ammunition in the 12.7 × 99 mm NATO caliber over an effective distance of 1700 meters.
