KSG RWE / BV 06 Essen

The war sports club Rot-Weiss Essen / BV Altenessen 06 (short: KSG RWE / BV 06 Essen) was a game community of the soccer teams of Rot-Weiss Essen and BV Altenessen 06 from 1943 to 1945 during the Second World War . In 1944 Ballfreunde Borbeck joined the syndicate , which was dissolved again after the end of the war.

KSG RWE / BV 06 Essen took over from Rot-Weiss Essen in the Gauliga Niederrhein at the beginning of the 1943/44 season and finished eighth there at the end of the season. In the 1944/45 season , game operations came to a standstill after just one game day.
