The KSW skyscraper is a hospital skyscraper belonging to the Kantonsspital Winterthur (KSW) and, with a height of over 50 m and 16 storeys, the third tallest building in Winterthur . In 1947 the referendum on the new KSW building was accepted, and in 1958 the new hospital was inaugurated. However, the skyscraper belonging to the hospital was not completed until 1968. This houses the surgical clinic, children's, eye, rheumatoid and gynecological clinic, outpatient clinics, on- call and staff rooms.

The KSW high-rise will be dismantled after the completion of the new "didymos" treatment wing. The dismantling will begin after the construction work has been completed in 2021.
