Die : K (pronounced: "Doppelpunkt K") is a German-language specialist magazine in the field of industrial construction with a focus on mechatronics and machine safety . The focus of the reporting is on application-related design solutions. Furthermore, market and industry analyzes, company portraits, interviews and the presentation of product-related new and further developments are published. The : K is published eight times a year with a print run of 24,983 copies by Henrich Publications GmbH, Gilching.

history

In 2004, the first year of publication K: . The first editor-in-chief was Peter Schäfer. From the beginning, the unique selling point of the : K was the A4 plus format and also the special focus on a particularly appealing visualization of all contributions. In September 2008 Peter Schäfer was succeeded by Christoph Scholze as editor-in-chief, who moved from VNU Verlag in Munich. In 2011 Michael Kleine took over the editor-in-chief - he was previously the longstanding editor of the trade magazine automation , which is also published by Henrich. Hajo Stotz has been editor-in-chief of: K. The mechanical engineer was previously editor-in-chief of the specialist journal SCOPE from Weka Business Medien, Darmstadt , for many years .
