Kaarina Goldberg (born January 28, 1956 ) is a Finnish writer and journalist living in Vienna .

She gained fame in Finland through her children's books Petokylän Ilona Ilves and Rämäpäinen robotti as well as through the comic strip Senni ja Safira , which appears in the newspaper Eläkeläiset . She is also a columnist for the Finnish gastronomy magazine Teema Nova .

In August 2010, her Senni ja Safira comic strips were published as a book by the Finnish Karisto publishing house - the first comic book in the company's 100-year history.

Life

Kaarina Goldberg has lived in Austria since 1985 , is married and has two sons. Her younger son, Felix Goldberg, is the author of the webcomic Everyday Blues. She is the aunt of the former Finnish politicians Irina Krohn and Minerva Krohn . In addition to her work as a writer, she runs a language services company.
