Forbes I cabinet
The Forbes I cabinet was formed in New Zealand on May 28, 1930 by Prime Minister George William Forbes of the United Party and replaced the Ward II cabinet . Prime Minister Joseph Ward resigned on May 28, 1930 for health reasons and died a few weeks later on July 8, 1930. The first Forbes cabinet remained in office until September 22, 1931, when it was replaced by the Forbes II cabinet .
