Kaddy Camara ran in the 2013 regional elections in Gambia to elect the Brikama Area Council for the Bantanjang constituency in the Foni Bondali constituency . Since there was no opponent, she won a seat on the regional council.
In the 2017 parliamentary elections , she ran as a candidate for the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) in the constituency of Foni Bondali in the West Coast Administrative Region . With 50.16%, it was able to win the constituency before Ousman Marcus Nyassi (UDP) for itself.
