Kade (Ghana)

Kade is a city in the Eastern Region in Ghana and is located 100 kilometers northeast of Accra .

Kade has a small airfield for domestic flights and in 2000 had a population of around 18,545. With a rainfall of approx. 1640 mm per year, Kade is one of the areas with rainforest vegetation . In the area around Kade there are many plantations for growing mango and cashew nuts .
