Kadem
Kadem was a Turkish (Ottoman) measure of length and corresponded to the foot . The measure of Parmak, the Turkish inch , actually finger, was mainly calculated in the timber trade according to the English inch with 1¼ inches or 0.316 centimeters . Only 2.81 centimeters would be suitable for the Kadem.
