Management pre-course

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The preparation of the cadres of the Swiss militia army for service is called the cadre preliminary course (KVK) . The commanding officer , officers and NCOs move in front of the troops in the so-called revision course (WK) of the Swiss Army .

The cadre preliminary course lasts up to a week and takes place immediately before a refresher course. Members of the Swiss Armed Forces (called AdA) have to complete refresher courses after the recruit school until the required number of days of service has been reached. The refresher course takes place once per calendar year and lasts three weeks for most troops. Thus, the military deployment for the team ( soldiers , private ) lasts three weeks per calendar year and for the aforementioned cadres four weeks.

During the cadre preliminary course, material is gathered and accommodation is occupied, the drivers take repetition courses and the cadre can prepare for the repetition course and, if necessary, new equipment. Usually some soldiers (drivers, cooks, office orderlies, company soldiers, specialists, etc.) are also called up to support them as auxiliary staff.
