Kalangala
Kalangala is located on the island of Bugala, part of the Ssese Islands, in the Ugandan part of Lake Victoria and is the administrative center of the Kalangala district . Kalangala is 48 kilometers as the crow flies from Entebbe . The small town is located on a beach on the north side of Bugala.
The inhabitants who belong to the Basese are mainly fishermen. They also make a living from growing coffee, potatoes, cassava , bananas and yams .
